Title IX at Prince George's Community College

Prince George’s Community College, as a recipient of federal financial assistance, is subject to Title IX of the Education Amendment of 1972, as amended. It is college policy not to discriminate on the basis of sex in the educational programs or activities that it operates. This policy not to discriminate in educational programs and activities extends to admission to the college. The college actively encourages the enrollment of interested students, regardless of race, sex, national origin, age, color, ancestry, religion, marital status, veteran’s status, or disability, in all of its educational programs, and fully supports student access to all programs without regard to sex stereotyping or other such limitations.

Inquiries concerning the application of Title IX may be referred to the director of the Office of Civil Rights of the Department of Education or to the vice president for Student Affairs, located in Kent Hall. (Source: Prince George's Community College Academic Catalog)
