Photo Identification

Photo identification cards are issued to:

  • full and part-time faculty and staff
  • students enrolled in credit courses only
  • check out library materials and for other college activities

Photo IDs for students and college employees are processed at the Circulation Services Desk facing the entrance of the building. Photo ID hours are posted each semester. Call 301-546-0475 when the library is open to speak with a circulation services staff member.

Currently enrolled students with a student photo identification card must re-validate it each semester. There is a $10.00 replacement fee for lost or stolen cards.

Required Documentation

1. Bring a copy of your bill or statement (can be printed from Owl Link)

2. Bring one of the following forms of photo identification:

  • Driver's License
  • State-issued I.D.
  • Military-issued I.D.
  • Resident Alien Card (Green Card)
  • Employment Authorization Card
  • Passport
  • High School I.D.

Proof of Registration

For proof of registration, please do the following:

  • Go to OWL Link
  • Login with your OWL Link username and password
  • Print your current bill
    • Under the Financial Information section
    • Click View Account and Make Payments
    • Choose the current semester and click View Statement
    • Print your bill

Please wait 24 hours after making a tuition payment or selecting a payment option before obtaining the photo ID.

Non-Credit Student ID

Non-credit students are issued temporary identification cards which are distributed by their instructors.

Special user cards are issued to:

  • county residents who reside in Prince George's County with proof of residency using a valid driver's license
  • high school students in the Prince George's Community College Special User Program (coordinator authorization) with a high school identification
  • alumni (call 301-546-3088 for card information)

  • Andrews Air Force Base, 1413 Arkansas Road, Room 111 (Restricted to students enrolled at this site)
  • Laurel College Center, Room 205
  • University Town Center, Room 245
