Cafe Accokeek is located on the first floor, across from the Circulation Services desk. The cafe has been designated as a study area where food and beverages are allowed. High tables and chairs are provided for this purpose.
Cafe Regulations
- Photo ID is required for access
- IDs are retained until the Cafe is vacated
- Food and beverages are restricted to this area only. Food and beverages may not be brought into other areas of the library or study rooms.
- Low-level conversational tones should be observed
- Please use provided chairs - sitting on the window sill, heating system and on top of tables is not permitted
- Adhere to the Care of Library Property policy when using the Cafe and equipment (this includes, but is not limited to, vending machines, furniture and blinds)
- There is a 20-minute limit for space use
Cafe Accokeek is a study area, and not a social lounge. Please respect others using the designated area by keeping unnecessary noise to a minimum. Students not adhering to regulations will be asked to relocate by library staff or other campus personnel.
