First Year Experience (PAS 1000)
This class assists incoming students in making a successful transition to college. Students will focus on those behaviors and attitudes that are needed to achieve academic success. Students are expected to take themselves and their academic pursuits seriously, engage in self-enhancing behaviors, accept responsibility for their own decisions and actions, and conduct themselves professionally. Strategies for time management, test taking, note taking, memory, retention, communication, and diversity will also be covered.
