Events Calendar: Edible Books Contest

All participants are required to work from the following guidelines:

• The subject matter, i.e., book, may be selected from within or outside of the library's collection.
• Books may be either sweet or savory, raw or baked, as long as they are completely edible and can be left unrefrigerated for up to two hours.
• Entries should be literary inspired and attempt to capture the essence of the book, e.g., text integration, character representation, book cover replication, etc.  
• Contestants will be asked to submit a written description of how their entry relates to the book and provide a list of ingredients used (no longer than a paragraph). In addition, contestants will give a brief presentation to the judging panel about their creation.
