Canvas and Library Resources 

Guide Purpose 

How to integrate library resources (Articles, eBooks, Journals, Streaming videos), research guides, and databases into Canvas courses using Persistent links or the LTI Tools for library databases. 

The WHY?

Instructors can remain copyright compliant and make learning accessible by providing direct access to library resources in courses.

Using Persistent links and the LTI Tools for library databases means that students are automatically have library resources in their Canvas courses. 

The HOW?

Getting Help with Canvas

In order to link library materials in Canvas, the most important technical skill is being able to create a link using Canvas' Rich Text Editor.  If you're not sure how to do that, follow the link below.
