Canvas and Library Resources

How to add and use library resources in Canvas using persistent links and LTIs
Streaming Video Databases

The library subscribes to multiple streaming video collections. You can find them on the Streaming Video page on the library homepage.

Each streaming vendor looks a little different, but the linking and embedding features work in similar ways.

Persistent Links for Streaming Videos

1. Go to the library website and click on Streaming Videos

2. Search a streaming video database to find a video

3. Select the video you want from the search results

4. Along the bottom of the video player, click the Share or Embed/Link button

5. Copy the permalink

6. Open Canvas and use the embed code or link in the course where you want to share the content.
