Canvas and Library Resources

Finding Persistent Links in Library Databases

---

1. Go to the library website and click on A-Z Database List

2. Search the database to find a journal article

3. Select the article title you want from the search results

4. On the right-hand side, look for the persistent link icon

5. Copy the persistent link

6. Open Canvas and add the persistent link where you want to share the library resource.

 

ProQuest

Follow steps 1-3, selecting a ProQuest database from the A-Z Database List to search

Step 4a - Click the All Options button (button in the upper right corner in ProQuest)

 

Step 4b - Copy the URL at the top of box

Follow steps 5 and 6 pasting the persistent link in the course or course materials  

 

Gale Databases

Follow steps 1-3, selecting a Gale database from the A-Z Database List to search

Step 4a - Click the Get Link button (button in the upper right corner in Gale Databases)

Step 4b - Copy the URL in the box
